We believe that all children should have the same opportunities in life regardless of their experiences, age, ability, sexual orientation, race, or other characteristics. We support and nurture children and young people to achieve their full potential. From the outset we support each child or young person placed with us to learn the skills, knowledge, and ability to equip them with the emotional resilience and physical capacity to thrive in adulthood. Children and young people are entitled to a happy life which promotes and safeguards their health, development, and welfare and protects them from harm. Our ethos is to increase each child’s, young person’s potential for growth and development towards future independence encouraging and motivating them to achieve positive outcomes now, whilst they work towards current goals and future aspirations.

Our Approach to care

At the heart of our residential care is a team of trained, experienced adults who place each child at the centre of everything we do. We follow the PACE model—Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy — a therapeutic approach that shapes how we think, feel, communicate, and behave to help children feel safe, understood, and valued. Our staffing ratios are carefully tailored to meet each child’s individual needs, ensuring consistent, responsive support that builds trust and promotes emotional well-being.
